As well all know Chrysler is riding a lot of hope and sales on there new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Well good news for Chrysler, it seems that pre-orders of the upcoming SUV have exceeded expectation by 30-40%. This is the reason why they decided to add a second shift to the plant. Even more great is that Marchionne predicted this.
“We are anticipating that there will be strong customer demand for the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so we decided it would be prudent to add a second shift of production,” said Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Chrysler Group.
Lets hope the same goes for the upcoming 300, Challenger, and Charger!!
