Clunker of the Day: Mazda MPV rumbles to end of road at 270,000 miles
The paint is peeling off the hood and roof, replaced by flecks of rust. And yes, that does look like a strip of cardboard being used as a makeshift windshield wiper, but it's actually just a wide blade guard.
But this aged Mazda MPV minivan has transported its last tot. Pramit Patel of Topeka, Kan., says he just traded it under the "Cash for Clunkers" program for a 2010 Toyota Corolla. You might say he got his use of out it. It ran for 270,000 miles -- more than the average distance from the earth to the moon. All in all, a worthy Clunker of the Day.[/QOUTE]
