Parts have begun arriving for our 1985 Ford Ranger Turbodiesel project truck. 4-speed (yes, 4) manual, 4 wheel drive (not according to its VIN tho), Air Conditioning, dual fuel tanks, dual battery. Odometer says 80k. Bought for way more than you'd think - but - these turbodiesel Rangers are pretty rare. It averaged 25mpg on the roadtrip home. Jason drove this truck home (Los Angeles) from Kansas a few weeks ago. It is registered and legal, but after its 1733 mile journey home, we have not driven it much. The radiator leaks massively and the tires are sketchy. We hope to get it on the road soon. Oh, the power steering and AC belt pulley tensioner broke too, so it is missing two of its "best" features. Lastly, it has trouble on its cold start (perhaps glow plugs). Overall, it's a "bucket list" mini truck that we've always wanted.

Diesel was missing a driver's side badge; we just received this in the mail from the guys we bought it from. This is off of his OTHER diesel ranger project. Cool huh. This is exciting. Can't get this at Auto Zone.

Created a Ride Profile for Diesel:

This is the only diesel Ranger uploaded as a Ride to this website. Enjoy. (And be glad you don't have to drive it the way it is right now! Hahaha.)
