That's almost like asking who makes the best cheeseburger . I like JBL Fosgate and cadence . others prefer Alpine , Pioneer , audiobahn , etc... It is a matter of your budget and what you want , Alot of bump , Clarity and what's your budget?
Of course i drag my tag .

I think that the old school PPIs can't be beat. But I am using US Amps in my new system. They are power hungry monsters for only 300 watts each.

Well , i got lucky and found a 1998 model Rockford Fosgate Punch 360a2 on ebay for $105 . It was brand new in the box . I couldn't pass that up and lemmie tell ya , that thing hits hard as can be . I remember those amps from back in the day , and i wanted one badly , i just could never afford one . LOL . Oldschool punch amps were the best i think .
Of course i drag my tag .

I found pq pioneer uses DSP's (digital signal processors) as one oof very good quality, capacity and respectable power internal amplifiers (of course, not to exceed an external amplifier) ??than the other two brands .  Some colleagues mentioned Nakamichi, Eclipse and Alpine, I agree with them are the best, but an observation: you can buy a pioneer of a middle course would be proportional to their price, or a lower standard alpine at the same price or slightly higher , you who prefer, a full stereo functions of a good brand or a simple but hopefully one of the best brands?
