Ok y'all , i am looking for a set of spun aluminum "Salt flat discs" for a 14" wheel for my Dime . I am going with the "Old Rat Rod" look for my truck and really want a set of em . I figured y'all out west might be able to point me in the right direction to find em . I used to have a set on my old Volkswagen Beetle (Mustang and Camaro eater) and i know i can find em alot cheaper than i found ($145 a set) . If i remember the ones i used to have cost me about $50 . Any and all help would be awesome . BTW i am looking for the screw on and not the snap ons . The snap on ones tend to fall off .
Of course i drag my tag .

theres no better deals than the ones at local swap meets, try and hit up your local hot rod scene, they are easy to find cheap deals, just get there early.

Swap meets ?  Hot Rod scene ?    Here in West Virginia they do not exist . Everyone wants chrome wheels and lifted trucks .  If i was back home , no problems there .  Like i said in my thread , I'm in minitruckin *** . No one that knows anything and really hard to find parts . LOL  Hopefully this summer after i relocate myself , wife , and 2 boys to north west Indiana things will get easier and more plentiful . I found a set of stainless snap on discs on ebay that i am bidding on right now , and if the price stays where it is , i'll just remove the snap on mount and drill holes in em to mount em .

Just got out bid on ebay , but no worries , got a better deal on em . I got a set comin for $31.00 . As far as having to take em off to check tire pressure , it don't really matter to me . I had em on my Volkswagen beetle , except they were the spun aluminum screw on ones . I held them on with 1/4-20 bolts welded to the wheels and chrome wing nuts . Had a lot of people look at em and tell me that was a good idea . Funny , i thought it was kinda gaudy . LOL
