Hello:
I am new here.  Thank you for reading my post!
I have a new generator set, Cummins QSX15G8 with Stamford alternator running at 1500rpm.
The controller was Deep sea 7320.
I test the genset and the engine was a little hunting sound when no load.  It become stable when apply 20Amp to the genset.  The engine speed was 1498 to 1500 when hunting, the frequency reading remain 50.0Hz.
The ECM was CM570 (p/n:3408501).  I use the insite software and found that there were no gain adjust, also not support external gain pot wiring.
What can I do to solve this problem?  Anyone have this experience?
Thank you
Henry

Can't say I have heard this issue before.  Have you contacted Cummins?  I would contact them, and see what they may suggest.

Cummins Care at 1-800-DIESELS™ (1-800-343-7357) in the U.S., or 1-812-377-3000 outside the U.S. You can also submit your question with Cummins online form, and an expert will respond to you via email.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.  From the hardware, there was no gain pot.  From software, there was no set point of the gain.  I tried contact and they visit my place and check, but found nothing.  They said they will response to this case, but I am afraid my customer cannot accept of the unstable sound.
