I have an 06 Dmax and PPE Xcellarator for it, and it still has stock exhaust. Is there a chance it overheating? And should i get gauges?

Yes if you are running any kinda tuner then gauges are a must. If I were you I would get a aftermarket exhaust, the Duramax sounds good to me straight piped.  And also I would not run that PPE on the highest tune, you don't want to tear something up.

Yeah you need gauges .... EGT and auto trany temp at a minimum.  You should also upgrade the exhaust to help move that heat away from your turbo, or it'll glow like a lava flow.

Hey you didnt state which Xcelerator you have? The Hot and Hot+2 will def have the ability to burn up components if caution is not taken. The models below are less aggressive and you would have to abuse it to cause harm. None the less, overheating can happen in stock form if conditions are correct, so be careful anyway. However, an EGT gauge is a neccessity and a boost should also be considered. Additionally, a free flowing exhaust should be installed to reduce back pressure. Therefore, cooling expelled temps. and reducing the risk of heat related damage.
