Hello,

I have a Cummins L10 (10 litre, 6 cylinder, turbocharged producing 300 bhp) engine which I'm trying to set up as part of a university engine lab. Now this engine was sourced from the States (I'm in the UK) and the electric fuel pump that came with the engine seems to be powered by mains (115VAC) electricity (it came with a US 2 pin plug). I'm wondering what power the pump takes in Watts (or at least what current it takes in Amps), as off the shelf voltage transformers are limited by the power required. I've been struggling with information about it as the engine was pretty much dumped in my lap as is and Cummins UK has been no help.

Any specifications of electric fuel pumps from similar sized engines would also be helpful.

Thanks.

i think this motor was used in light trucks and generators. Is it a late model motor if so i believe it requires 24v and around 15 amp.  but any pump pushing 15lbs will work
