this truck will run fine until it gets about 200 miles on a tank and then it goes 2 , 3 cyl loses all power.
if we let it set for awhile it will crank and then run fine.
have replaced #8 # 3 injectors, 2 new fuel pumps cleaned sock in tank and those 2 lil roll of dime looking filters in the tank..
please help what should we do?
bought it brand new.
so we are the only owner.
Confused
PLEASE HELP US!!!

Have you had your Kam sensor replaced? I know ford put out a recall on all 1999 to 2003 7.3l powerstrokes. I'm not saying for sure but it might have something to do with it.

i called and ask ford was it possible that the sensor was bad of course they dont want to admit that it maybe.
but we didnt have any problems till it was replaced!!

If it didn't have those problems till you replaced it then thats the first thing i would try. I would take it back to ford and make them replace it. If there's just no way that they do it then I'd buy my own sensor and replace it myself. I don't think they're to expensive and its not to much work to replace.
