I really want a gas milage readout, like on a factory DIV. My dealer says GM wont allow them to install one on a vehicle that didnt come with it, or even sell the parts so you can do it yourself. Are there any decent aftermarket units for DIY?

You mean something like a ScanGauge? Or a DashDAQ?

Yeh, I guess. Been looking at the scan guage online now. Sounds good, but looks awful. I guess I was just asking for experience with one of these.
