The 2010 Ford F-150 has been recognized as truck of the year. The reviews of the truck have been fantastic but there is always someone on the crowd that complains about something and criticizes it because of it. So today I ask you a simple question, what would you change in the F-150 to make it better? Why would you change that and what would be the outcome? Now this can be anything in the truck, whether it be engine, interior, exterior, etc.

Engine options, the 4.6L and 5.4L engines are lagging behind the competition. Yes the F-150 has the highest tow rating but you want to be able to move that weight when it needs to be.

Taillights are hidious with the chrome outline. They just need to be redesigned or get rid of the chrome.

Ride still isn't as good as the RAM, but I know that is due to the payload/towing numbers.

The new F-150 is a great truck! Between the 09 RAM and 09 F-150 (for me anyway) it came down to engine power, ride, in cab storage, and styling. The RAM pulled out ahead of the F-150 in this area and now the 2010 RAM has the towing abilities to compete even better.

Yes I agree....Ford has really got to put more horsepower under the hood. With more power to increase performance, the competition would be left on the dust.

Yep. More power. All the other goods are there. Super-beefy frame, high-rated towing capacity, etc. Yeah, you can get the bolt-on blower as a dealer option, but Ford should have more powerful engine options from the factory.

Agreed. The engine has been power has been one of the very few to none things the public complains about. A good combination would be the HEMI engine in an F-150. Awww...the possibilities are endless.

I'd personally like to see the half-ton diesel. But from the sound of things, Ford's putting most of its eggs in the EcoBoost basket. Hey, if it delivers the promised 400 lb./ft. and 22 hwy. mpg, I won't complain!
