"Really?" as in "You've got to be kidding me, you can't be serious?" or "Oh my gosh, this is too good to be true...Please, oh please yes!" ?

Really.. as in why? Keep it as is and as a race truck... not as a family truck

In principle I agree about keeping it true to its original mission. But let's face it...consumer demand does play a big role in product development. Case-in-point. The 4-door Wrangler Unlimited outsells the 2-door by a significant margin. If you're an off-road purist, the 2-door is better because of its shorter wheelbase, which makes it more maneuverable off-road. But the buying public has spoken.
I say why not, as long as the "original" is still offered.

I think it's amazing just the way it is now.

I think it's a great truck as-is, but I think if the Super Cab (extended) and Super Crew were both offered, the Super Crew would out-sell it by probably 2 to 1. Just saying.
