2000 ford f- 150 4.6 problems

i have a 2000 ford f-150 4.6 with a jet chip - k&n cold air intake and poweraid throttle body spacer. it will not start once it sits over knight it will start up and cut off. i have to press the gas for a min. then it will start to idle on its own after that it runs jam up.for some reason it will not start when i dont drive it for 6 to 8 hours. what will cause it to do that

So after you hold the throttle open to start it, it idles and you can drive it? Or you stay on the gas, it starts, and then it cuts out again?
