ROD HALL RACING FIELDS TWO TEAMS IN THE TSCO VEGAS TO RENO

RACING STARTS THURSDAY - FOLLOW THE ACTION VIA LIVE WEBCAST

Rod Hall Racing will field two trucks in this year’s TSCO Vegas to Reno off-road race.  The three-day, 1000 mile competition will start in Beatty, Nevada Thursday and end Saturday  outside Carson City.

Chad Hall will pilot his H3 Alpha in Class 4100.  Thad Stump, who just returned from navigating for Josh Hall in the Australasian Safari rally, will serve as co-driver.  Hall, who spent the first half of the race season driving a Class 10 car, won the class at the 2008 Vegas to Reno in the HUMMER. Chad also won the 2008 Best In the Desert Series Championships in Class 4100.

Emily Miller will be driving the H3 I5 in the 3100 class.  Sam Cothrun, owner of SamCo Fabrication that preps both race vehicles, is co-driver.  Miller ironmanned the 2008 race and commented, “This is going to be a long, tough three days, but I have a proven truck and great co-driver and am looking forward to the challenge.”

The 2009 Vegas to Reno can be followed via live tracking  at www.bitd.com and live webcast on www.sopwithmotorsports.com/live.  The race will also be broadcast on Fox Sports and the Outdoor Channel.    Airing schedules will be posted as they become available as well as a post race wrap up on www.rodhallracing.com.
