Clunker of the Day: 1993 Ford Econoline

Say what you will about cars and trucks these days, they never seem to rust. Where it shows, anyway. Remember -- and we would rather forget -- the days of "factory undercoating?"

Today's clunker is an decrepit 1993 Ford Econoline van driven into Gregory Hyundai in Highland Park, Ill., a couple of weeks back as a cash for clunkers trade. It's a reminder of the bad, old days. Clearly, this old boy had a hard, often frigid, life over 189,000 miles. Not much is left of this van back around the tailpipe.

Well, this rust bucket is headed for van heaven now.
