Does your Chevy owners manual say anything about flat towing? And how far are you towing your truck? My gut says to just pop it into neutral and go.

my owners manual says it is ok, push 2wheel high and 4wheel high at same time for 10 seconds and it locks into nuetral, yet rv dealers say no, i put it through this process and it did lock out,i would be towing about 1300 miles each way about twice a year, thank you for your response, austin

I would trust what your Chevy Manual says over what anyone from the RV dealer says. If Chevy says you can do it then I would do it.
That is just my opinion anyway.
Were the people at the RV dealer trying to sell you the tranny cooler or something?
