Looks aside, I hope Honda puts something with more than 166 horses into the 2010 CRV. The top-shelf RAV4 has nearly 100 hp more than 2009 CRV.

Not likely. Honda has traditionally been the late-bloomer when it comes to more powerful optional engines. They didn't even offer a V-6 in the Accord until 1995, well after the Camry and other competitors offered one.
Some have suggested a more powerful version of the 2.4. The new Accord has 190 horse, and the version in the Acura TSX is 201. Either of those would be a reasonable upgrade. But I wouldn't hold my breath for either a V-6 or turbo for the CR-V.
