I want to take my trailer its a jaco 29 ftr over the Rockies to the oakanagan valley. I was told that i would have to put on new rotors as the ones fitted would over heat braking down some of the hills and that I would need a trany cooler as well due to the hard work my truck will have oh its a 1500 chevi avalanche could some one please advise me as the information I got is not reliable

Brakes and a tranny cooler are not bad ideas for your Avalanche. You may want to look into some trailer brakes as well.

thanks for that the trailer has the electric brake system and i have a system in the truck which I can adjust to help brake the trailer
