I'm assuming it's the S15 Jimmy? You might want to look at adopting some of the Blazer ZR2 parts for it. There's actually a pretty informative Wikipedia Page on the ZR2.
However, as the article notes, there are some differences between the regular Blazer/Jimmy 4x4 and the ZR2. In terms of the engine, there are a lot of parts out there for the 4.3. A lot is going to depend on whether or not you're willing to take the engine out and do some serious modifications to it, or if you just want to do a few bolt-ons. Hot Rod Magazine did a buildup on a 4.3 and put a supercharger on it for more than 500 horsepower! But the engine was pretty extensively modified.
But if you want to do a programmer, intake, header and exhaust, that should make a difference. Hope this helps.
