Coming from folks who know winters, the New England Motor Press Association has named their 2009 Winter Vehicle Award Winners:
Official Winter Vehicle: Toyota Venza
Official Wagon: Ford Flex
Official Pickup Truck: Dodge Ram
Official SUV Under $25K: Nissan Rogue
Official SUV from $25K-$35K: Tied between the Honda Pilot and Kia Borrego
Official Luxury SUV: Tied between the Range Rover Sport and Cadillac Escalade Hybrid

My question would be, who the freak cares what they drive up in New England? As far as I'm concerned, they're a bunch of liberal hippies that drive 15 year-old Subarus, or self-righteous academics that drive Pruises, if they even have a car at all!
I know, I know...there are plenty of good hard-working, truck-driving folks up in the Northeast, but I'd hardly call the region a trendsetter for the truck enthusiast scene.
