Just got a new dually long box. I want to keep the paint looking good so I plane on getting a bed liner of some kind. I would prefer a drop in liner over a spray cause you cannot take the spray liner out if you want and also you can never get the painted factory finish back if you have a sprayed liner. What liner would you recommend. I need something very heavy duty cause rocks etc will be dropped on it. Best thing I can find is something like this http://www.qwikliner.com..

I think spray-ons are the best. Drop-ins tend to trap all kinds of fun things between the plastic and the bed and if left unattended for a while, can do more harm than help.

True, a spray-on can't be removed, but it does other things for your truck: -Putting up a few hundred dollars on a spray-on is more cost effective than having to eventually repaint a bed because of all of the scuffs of not having one or the damage the drop-in leaves behind. It'll last a lot longer than any paint job. But should the liner need to be repaired, again it's much cheaper than paint repairs.
-Most spray-ons can be color-matched so it has a seamless look with the rest of the truck's finish: http://www.viewpoints.com/images/review/2008/60/19/1204334361-52681_full.jpg
-It actually adds resale value to the truck when it comes time to sell it. The buyer knows that the truck's already been protected and will be for a lot longer.
Personally, I'm a fan of LINE-X: http://www.linex.com/linex_vs_competition_0.shtml
But there are other options out there too.

I agree with GregJR, the spray-in is by far more durable and when color matched, adds to the looks of the truck. I've had my bed, tool box and running boards sprayed with the same "line-X" type of material and it holds up well and looks great.

I would visit the shops and look at freshly sprayed liners and start making my decision from there. I really don't think there is much difference in the I have qwikliner in my current truck and love it... Have not had of the other spray ins to compare it to though...
I like that it has a texture that is non-slip, but yet it is not rubbery, so if you are using the truck to carry dirt/mulch/gravel, like you would with a truck it is a very good surface to shovel and sweep stuff off of...
For the price, durability, function and application method, I highly recommend the qwikliner bed liner.

I have been spraying QWIK Liner for about 2 years and find the product excellent. The ease of the product to work with and low odor is wonderful. QWIK Liner is everything it says it is! it's fast. QWIK Liner can be applied as fast as 1 hour from start to finish so customer satisfaction is very good, this included prep. Customers don't have to leave there vehicle over night they can pick it up the same day.

Qwikliner Mobile Spray on Bed Liner The QWIK Liner is the lightest spray-on hybrid polyurea system available, making it ideal for mobile applications where other machines can not deliver. The QWIK Liner system is completely air driven. thats why I love qwikliner

I have qwikliner in three truck beds and feel that it is a better product than others. It seems to be tougher. However, the key to getting a good spray-on bedliner is the installer.

If you want a bed liner thats going to outlast the others and not peel up like line-x and rhinoliner, you should come check out www.steelliner.com They have the best bedliners on the market, because there are the only bedliner that is a Epoxy/Urethane Hybrid. that means it will stick to pretty much anything. you can spray it on all most anything like truck beds, atvs, wood decks, ect. All the main stream companies use a urethane bedliner product, so the go on real fast, dry almost immediately so they can do quantity not quality, But those bedliners always fade and peel up. Steelliner is based out of Kemah, Tx. Steelliner can spray your truck or you can buy a kit from there online store and do it yourself. so check them out at www.steelliner.com
