TT reported on it a couple of weeks ago, but incase you all ready for got Saturday is Isuzu's last office day in North America.... byebye... hope you come to visit again!
:
On Saturday, Jan. 31, Isuzu Motors America stops delivering new vehicles to dealerships in North America.
Dealers still have about 500 light trucks to clear off their lots, so new Isuzus will be available for a few more weeks. Isuzu spokesman Chip Letzgus said. He said 230 dealers have signed up to provide Isuzu parts, service and warranty work.
Isuzu's commercial-truck business, a separate operation, continues.
Isuzu has been on North American roads since 1971 when General Motors imported a small pickup and sold it as the Chevrolet LUV. In 1981, Isuzu began selling vehicles under its own name. Last month Isuzu sold 188 vehicles in the United States, down from 492 sold in December 2007.

Joe Isuzu! That's awesome! I wonder what ever happened to David Leisure? According to Wikipedia, he's now on The Young and the Restless. Who knew?
