GM’s Red Tag Sale has been going for almost a month now, and today the company upped the amount of cash back offered on a number of 2008 models still on dealer lots, including its pickup trucks.
The most impressive rebate is $10,000 off Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty pickups equipped with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine and six-speed Allison automatic transmission. A 2008 Silverado 2500HD regular cab two-wheel-drive Work Truck model with an MSRP of $32,580 can be purchased for only $22,580 — that's nearly 30 percent off!

2008 Chevy Silverado regular cab, extended cab or crew cab: $6,000-$8,000
