the durmax is a joke thier longevity as noted by the factory is 225k miles while cummins and powerstroke state 500k miles the metals combo in the durmax leave a lot to be desired in the different expansion and temp tolerances of the steel, iron, aluminum etc. the best motor is cummins and chevy makes good half tons but hD are dodge and ford

I've recently purchased A 88 mazda 4x4 and I'm working on restoring it. I'm looking for any pictures of 1988 mazda B-2600 trucks for modification ideas.Im hoping to turn it into A possable show truck. it already has A 8" lift. I cracked cylender 3 when I was deared to test mud hole.10'in 3'deep.took A 4x4 dulley wrecker to get me unstuck. But any way pictures welcome.

Half my family always had Fords, the other Chevys, I was the first with a Dodge and may have followed. We have all had trucks with well over 200,000+.
My favorite is the Dodge, I used it for a work truck towing every day, 4-wheeling on the weekends and some job sites, and I was young and drove it like I stole it. Oil changes every 5k till about 80k then every three. Replaced one battery, few sets of brakes, no mechanical repairs.
It was still running good when the wrecker took it away at 227k+, it was totaled in an accident 6 days earlier, but it still drove strait and ran good even though I could see the pavement under the truck while driving.
