In four months Nissan will unveil its all-new line of commercial trucks at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. At least three distinct models are expected, including full-size vans, small vans and pickups.

Nissan previously announced its new commercial trucks will offer a choice of two Cummins diesel engines and several ZF transmissions. The trucks will be manufactured at Nissan's Canton, Miss. plant, where today's Nissan Titan is built. Canton will receive a $118 million makeover to produce the vehicles.

We're expecting Nissan's new big pickups will range from Class 3 to Class 5 (GVWR of 10,000-lbs. to 19,500-lbs.). In addition to offering a standard pickup box, we also speculate Nissan will offer commercial chassis cab versions, with single and dual rear wheel configurations, that can be upfitted for industry-specific aftermarket applications, such as a tow-truck package or dump box.[/QUOTE]

It doesn't make any sense to me why Nissan would basically decide to sell a re-badged Ram to replace the Titan, and then sink all this money into this, which will likely be a much lower-volume vehicle. Hmm.
