Tata Motors makes a questionable call on ceasing the release of monthly sales figures, but they have their reasons and there's nothing the public can do. Obviously Land Rover sales are down, but shouldn't Tata want to keep information flowing to encourage good faith with consumers?

I'm sure in the current sales climate, a lot of manufacturers would like to be able to not announce sales figures. Other than Mini, there aren't many brands that are up right now.
