Power window problem

Hi guys,
I'm the new guy, please be nice :-)
I'm not sure this post should go in this section, please point me in the right direction if I'm wrong.
I have a problem with my truck, it's a F-150 2001, yesterday, out of the blue, my electric windows stopped working :-(
Before i ran to the shop What can it be? any home repairs i can do?

Are the motors making any noise at all? It might be as simple as replacing a fuse, it might be a loose connection between the harness and the window motor. First thing I'd do is find your fuse panel that has the circuit for your power windows, pull the fuse that handles that circuit, do a visual check on it. If it looks good, it could still be bad, so I'd replace it with a new one. If that still doesn't work, you might have to dig a little deeper. Hope this helps.
