Why is there so much hate for the Toyota Tundra?

I guess v8trucker4 does,nt use his truck for work. Just driving and racing other trucks on the highway. Trucks are ment for work and durability all other things are second. Believe what ever you want go to a construction site they buy what works not whats popular in girly magazines. How many tundras or titans you see on a job site???? 1 maybe they dont last constant abuse that gm, ford, dodge owners put them in.

I say buy the truck you think is best, that makes competition which means the all build better trucks. Having said that, I buy Dodges!  

yez tundras are crap. they are the worst trucks made....  and to all of you who love the big 3... ford gm and dodge lets help these companiez by investing our savings onto there stocks. coz its not enough just to buy there trucks we should invest also and only buy american owned stocks....

Can't really comment on the Tundra as I have only ridden in one as a passenger.  Seemed like a nice ride, wasn't doing any work at the time.

Tundra isn't the only truck that takes crap, the Titan does as well.  It (Titan) is a solid vehicle and it is built in America (altho' for how long, I don't know since it is not selling).

My last few trucks were F150, K1500, and Titan.  I own a Titan now (just picked up a 2010 4WD Crew) and all the trucks of good points and bad points.  I use my trucks for geo-caching (off-road) and light hauling (wood, trash, stone, stuff like that) and they all performed very well.

People bicker about that extra 100 lbs. of hauling capacity or 500 lbs. of towing capacity when the max they haul (MOST people) is maybe a 1/4 ton at a time or tow maybe 5000 lbs of lawnmowers or a boat at a time;  All the 1/2 tons are capable of doing that well.
