I really like this truck, and it's a good thing it got truck of the year too.
It has everything a truck buyer wants and even more.

Yesterday I saw a new tundra pulling a dual axle construction trailer with about 4 yards of topsoil and the rear end was almost dragging on the pavement and the front end was pointing toward the sky. With that weight including the trailer your around 4 to 5000 pounds. Toyota's tow ratings are off. It is a compact truck made to take mamma's grocery's and kids. When you purchase a tundra you are contributing to Japan's economy and a Japanese owned corp. Not union made , full of japanese parts. Yes they are made in usa but with japan parts , non union workers and zero knowledge of making trucks that are fullsize. Only buy Ford,Dodge, chevy, gmc.

I'm not brand loyal to any one car company, I simply do the research then test drive all the models and then buy the one that I like, We are in a global economy know, I'll buy a Toyota as fast as I'll buy a Chevy. Toyota has put millions of dollars in to U.S. jobs and and in the communities they opperate in. I'd like to ask the guy that posted this, where his cloths and shoes were made. By the way all the car Magazines rate the Tundra very high, its actaually closer to s 3/4 ton truck in terms of capability.

I am just telling what I saw the other day. It can not handle much weight. Toyota needs to stick to what they know and not what the other company's have been doing for the past 80 to 100 years. We need to buy AMERICAN NOT JAPANESE. Proud to be an AMERICAN.

I dont care what people drive, buy what you like. But heres somthing to chew on! This is coming from the maginze that said the Honda Ridgeline was truck of the year. What does that say about this mag??? Also why is Consumer Reports ranking its relibilty as "MUCH WORSE THAN AVERAGE"?? Could it be the transmission shutter or the tailgate FAILING OFF or buckeling under a load???
