Which do you think is the Better DEAL ? NOT which is the better Truck. Both of them are %100 spotless.
05 ,F-150 ,5.4 ,supercrew ,4X4, Lariat ,23,000 miles,,, =$25,500 -1 year warrenty and offering $5000 for the Trade-in viper alarm, remote start, and Brand new BF goodrich's I like everything about it except the Bucket seat in front.
04 ,Chevrolet Avalanche ,Z-71 ,5.3 ,44,000 miles ,,,$20,000-3 month warrenty ,offering $3000 for the Trade-in I like everything about it except the miles are abit high and No moon roof or rear climate controls. It does have the bench seat I like.
I'v been racking my brain for the past week on this, and it seems to me the 150 is the better deal,,,half the miles and a year newer 1 year warrenty for $5000 more. Thank you for any opinions

I would say the F150 is the better deal just for the mileage, warranty and trade in allowance being better for the Ford. If you are going to be using it for any sort of hauling or towing, the Ford will be better, I think.
Just be sure, with these years to get a full CARFAX report as many used models that got water logged in Katrina are now on the market.

I should also let you know that I used to be a Ford Service Advisor, and am kind of a Ford guy so tend to recommend the F150 over the corresponding Chevy.
If you buy the '05 Ford, you can also extend the warranty through Ford for not that much money. NEVER EVER BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM AN AFTERMARKET COMPANY! THEY ARE ALL RIPOFFS! Even if you aren't buying the Ford from a dealership, you can go into the Service department, fill out a small sheet and can extend your warranty for however many years. Just an idea for you. You, however, cannot extend the warranty after the original factory warranty is over. Let us know what you decide!
