: A photo floating around the internet of an odd-looking Dodge Ram has been confirmed as that of the 2009 model, with the source of the leak being Chrysler's site for its Mopar accessory line. The page has since been taken down and the entire site, www.mopar-accessories.com, is now off the air. We think someone's in trouble.

What happened to the "Contractor Special" hybrid that was being developed? It was shelved and deemed too expensive for the market. Dodge has never had trouble making good looking vehicles, but the fuel market has changed. Pretty alone won't cut it in the near future.

I see a lot of the dead in the water Dodge Magnum in that face. It's suppost to look like a Bid Rig truck like the old 94 one did. This one looks like it's trying to look like a Mizzu Eclipse with that shark like nose. I don't like it.

Dodge marketing was smart to offer the dually in a short-bed format for the megacab. It use to be that people had to have a long-bed to tow a fifth-wheel, but with slip-hitches this requirement is less of an issue. Introducing a regular crew-cab will be more maneuverable (in congested city traffic) than the mega-cab and it will offer more room for adult passengers than the quad-cab. My prediction is that in three years at least 90% of extended-cab Dodge trucks will be the crew-cab (if the quad-cab continues at all).
