Wait, you seriously put towing and hauling up in the top 5? Uh uh, this one cannot handle the towing or hauling even light duty full sizes and v-6 midsizes can. They really struggle hauling.

Price. Price. Price. For the amount of money needed for a Ridgeline, a Tundra or even nice Chevy can be had (the gas mileage is not that different). It is the best car-truck variant to date though.

My Ford F.150 Workseries was a Truck. Huge, Huge Fuel Bill, Easily yank a house off it's foundation.
My Escape I have now is a Trucklet. Small, Small Fuel Bill, Easily pull a Utility trailer, not a House off it's foundation.
The Ridgeline, is possibley the largest Trucklet on the market. It has a bed, A+ / It can pull a light duty trailer. B- / It can seat 4 cozy. A+ / It can't do serious rough roads or work. C+ / And finally the underbed storage is a SUPER IDEA... If only they didn't put the spare tire in their. Get a flat with a loaded bed and your cursing the automotive gods. A+ and ***
So the Ridgeline is not a Truck..... It is a Trucklet. And I would still prefer my Ford Escape.

Explain to me what is better if you like driving cars but need the utility - and not the towing, an SUV?

AstroMan: Ridgelines are for homos & Canadians, no real American man would drive one.
And that's why the US is in the predicament we're in... somewhere monster trucks and SUVs became macho, and once the "other head" starts making decisions, nature takes over.
Having been to Europe and Australia... apparently dudes there don't have the size inadequacies men do in the US... cuz there aren't any monster trucks :-) Oh, and they're also 100# smaller than Americans, so they don't need monster trucks.
