I didn't get a chance to make it out to SEMA this year, but I wish I had. Was anyone lucky enought to go? I would love to hear some personal stories, and the coolest thing you saw there.

I went... I had fun this year. I got to see more things than in the past years.
I went to the Toyota party one night with Monica and Jason from MINI Truckin and 4wheel off road. When we left they gave us little toy Toyota Priuses. Then we proceeded to race them against each other in the hallways. good times.
I also walked about 20 miles a day, and couldn't walk the next day. I also scored a toy Scion xD out of the xD that had that claw game set up in its trunk.

Its not open to the public. you have to be in the automotive industry to get in. There are a few ways to get in. One is being media. Two is being an exhibitor (which you pay for booth space). and Three is to be a buy or potential buyer. Like if you own an muffler shop, you can get in because you want to check out new things about mufflers systems. Or if you have a paint shop, or a restoration shop or any thing after market.
I know media is free, but im not sure about buyers. I THINK they are free too.
