LOS ANGELES – Richard Beattie, Land Rover’s top North American executive, has stepped down from his job.
Beattie, 52, worked for Ford Motor Co. for 34 years. He will be replaced by Christopher Marchand as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Marchand previously was Land Rover’s vice president of retail operations.
Prior to joining Land Rover in May, Marchand, 41, was president of Rolls Royce Motor Cars North America.
This is not Marchand’s first time with Land Rover. Through the ‘90s, he was involved in the automaker’s merchandising and marketing in North America.
