I'm in the process of fixing up my 1999 Silverado.  I bought the truck and the front bumper (the chrome middle piece) was slightly recessed.  Previous owner probably tapped another vehicle.  The bumper itself is in good shape but I'd like to take it off and try to pop it back out using a block and a hammer (at least make it look less noticeable).  Is there a DIY procedure to do this.  I'm sure I can easily figure it out by trial and error.  Thanks.
