Are baby boomer Buyers ready for a Supped up HHR?

Truckin' magazine caught wind of a new and Faster HHR on a leak done by Chevy in a recent brochure.

ChevyHHR.net leaked a scan of what's supposedly a 2008 model brochure for the Chevy HHR SS. That's right, a Super Sport version of the HHR. Here's what we can gather from squinting our eyes and attempting to read some of the text from the brochure. The car will definitely be turbocharged, not supercharged. Our best guess is a version of the Pontiac Solstice GXP engine. In the Pontiac, the engine produces 260 horsepower. It's expected the HHR will have close to if not the same amount of power. The transmission will be a 5-speed manual, not a 6-speed, as some earlier rumors had suggested.



 

I THINK GM WOULD BE DROPPING THE BALL BIG TIME IF THEY DO NOT OFFER THE HHR PANEL WITH THE SS PACKAGE.I AM READY TO BUY AND SO ARE LOTS OF OTHER  CHEVY FANS.SO IF CHEVY WANTS TO INCREASE SALES PLEASE OFFER THE HHR SS IN THE PANEL BODY NOW!
