Here's a little about me

I'm 26, born and raised in Cali. I'm a Leo, and i live up to that. I love the spotlight, but im modest about being in it. I love cars and trucks of all types. I grew up working on old vw bugs with my dad when i learned how to work on cars. I've have truck, rice-rockets, and now drive a MINI cooper. ya it isn't is truck, but i still love trucks. I also own a 76 AMC grimlin that belonged to my grandmother and was given to me when she pasted away. I also own a 2000 VW golf.

the first truck i owned was a 89 toyota xtra-cab log bed, and I'm currently seeking to find one as a project truck

I have one dog named stinky and no kids (to young still)

I tend to be a work-aholic but i love doing what I do! I've been part of MotorTrend.com for almost 3 years, and in the last year I've focused mainly on TruckTrend.com. But, I've been part of Primedia for 7 years and have worked on the websites for all most all the auto mags. I'm telling ya, I'm a car chick  

LOL Don't get mad at me but I got a chuckle from the statement "I grew up working on old VW bugs" Your still just a kitten at 26. Anyway hi Melissa I'm Sam (SAVAGESAM) 40, married (since 89, can you believe that! In todays world lol) w/children my daughter will be 15 (going on 20) next month. My son turns 11 in Oct. I drive a concrete truck for a living, my personal truck is a "cowboy cadillac" 04 Ford F-350 LB CC 4X4 6.0L PSD w/all the bells and whistles. What else? I live in Merced,CA. which is smack dab in the middle of nowhere BUT two hours drive to anywhere. North to Sac., NW to SF, West to Monterey, Santa Cruz, Carmel, East to Y.N.P., 4 hours to LA LA land. Anything else just ask. I'm glad to be here.
