As a "hypothetical" Truck buyer, which Truck would you choose to buy?
2000 Chevy Blazer; 4X4, 88,000 miles; $6,800
or
1998 Toyota 4Runner; 4X4, 166,000 miles; $6,995

It would really depend on which motor the 4runner had. The 2.7 is a workhorse and would be a better buy. I really don't care for the timing belt in the 3.4. The Blazer has its issues that realte more to the body than the drivetrain. So give me the 4Runner.

Depends on how good of shape and how well maintained the 4Runner was. I am iffy on those Blazers. I'll take the 4Runner.

The 4Runner is a Toyota I can actually tolerate as its actually got some off roadability.
