Sebastien Bourdais Wins Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

Sebastien Bourdais (#1 McDonald’s Cosworth/DP01/Bridgestone) claimed victory at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, crossing the finish line 2.614 seconds ahead of runner up Oriol Servia. Bourdais notched his first win of the season and 24th of his Champ Car career.

In what some are calling the signature race of the series, drivers are preparing both their skills and their vehicles for the upcoming Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The event, which is to run from April 13-15, is scheduled to feature a number of drivers including defending champion Sebastien Bourdais and four-time Long Beach winner Paul Tracy. When asked for comment, many of the drivers discussed their tactics for the upcoming event, the difficulties of participating in back-to-back events and offered tips on the best places to watch the race.
