Do you guys think there's been too much of an emphasis on power in the diesel truck market, and not enough on fuel economy? Do you hope that there will be more of an emphasis on economy when the half-ton diesels come out?

Yes and yes. What most don't realize is it's torque that get it done not H.P. I would gladly give away some H.P. for engine longevity. Also I would love for a maker to come out with a double over drive or two speed rear end. That way you could have max grunt when you needed it and also cruise at 70-80 at 1600 r.p.m. empty. Something along the lines of a U.S. gear or gear venders etc.
