VW CELEBRITY 5-ON-5 DRIVE CHALLENGE

Athletes and celebrities compete on custom off-road course at Fashion Show

WHO:              Kenny “the Jet” Smith, analyst for the TNT show Inside the NBA; NBA PLAYERS: NBA All*Star LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers; Baron Davis, Golden State Warriors; more athletes and celebrities TBA.

Also: Volkswagen Executives, local VW Dealers, visitors to and residents of Las Vegas.

WHAT:            The VW i.p. (Volkswagen Important People) 5-on-5 Drive Challenge will take place on a custom off-road course on the Las Vegas Strip, where five stars will test their driving skills for fun and charity. The Touareg, VW’s luxury SUV, with these competitors behind the wheel, will take on five action packed obstacles designed to demonstrate the high level of engineering behind the Touareg.

The event is free to the public as part of the VW i.p. Experience taking place during All-Star Weekend and designed to communicate a direct message of respect, appreciation and value to consumers, thus treating them like celebrities.

NOTES:           - The course is available for media to drive
- Refreshments will be served
- Parking deck clearance is 7 feet
- On behalf of the winning celebrity/athlete a donation will be made to the charity of their choice
