My dad has an '05 1/2 ton crew Silverado. Z71, 5.3. It's really a great truck; it pulls our 6,000 lb. Rinker 226 with no effort whatsoever. It usually only has to downshift once on the biggest hills. Here it is with the boat. And BTW, the boat is a 23' 6" bowrider with a Volvo MPI 5.0/305.

Yeah. The GM truck twins are great. We have a Sierra Denali. The 6.0L Vortec realy pulls. Wish it had 4 wheel drive. It is great with towing conventional trailers. No fifth wheeling since the bed just ain't big enough for that. Oh well.

The General has a few good trucks in there line-up. Anyone can tow a fifth wheel now. Check out http://www.hitch-buddy.com/. Makes it too easy.
